The ethos of Jeary & Lewis has always been to provide clear advice in a friendly way. We have a shop front, not a dark door with a brass plate. You won’t find a chandelier in sight. Our solicitors are down to earth and approachable. A lot of the people who come through our door have never visited a solicitor’s office before so we are keen to put the old fashioned view of a solicitor on a pedestal to rest. It is not the way we work.
That said, we are extremely professional and always put our clients first. We are also computer literate and forward thinking. Efficiency is paramount and embracing technology means that we can stay ahead of the game.
Michael Jeary, the Senior Partner, strongly believes that individual rights and freedoms are being gradually removed. He is very proud that over the past five years the firm has grown in size while others have been downsizing.
We are pleased to offer Legal Aid services and have a Category 1 Franchise from the Legal Services Commission – the highest category.
We have a large Criminal Department, and have recently expanded our Family Department. Our Conveyance Department continues to grow and offers an excellent, competitive service.
We also offer a Will making service. Everyone should think seriously about making a Will. We have the expertise to draft a Will that makes sure your money and possessions goes to your nearest and dearest. We will store the original in our safe, free of charge.
