Meet the Wills & Probate Department

Mythili Bonham – Head of Department

Heather Wheatley – Legal Executive

I joined Jeary & Lewis in July 2006. I am a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and have spent ten years studying many different legal subjects in order to have a good grounding in English Law.

To further my qualifications I wrote three theses to become a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. I have had an interest in Will drafting for several years and became a Member of the Institute of Professional Will Writers to develop my learning. This then led to Elderly Client Issues and I am now qualified in Elderly Client Law and Practice.

Whether you need advice on Wills, Probate, Elderly Client or End of Life Issues, I will guide you through the law in a way that’s straight-forward and easy to understand.

Tracey McGinley – Paralegal

I joined Jeary & Lewis in October 2017 as a Paralegal in the Wills and Probate department.

I have a Law degree from the University of the West of England, Bristol and have completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2015. I am currently studying to obtain my Certificate in Trusts and Estates. I am a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) as well as the Junior Lawyer division of the Bristol Law Society. I am working towards a Training Contract.

I have previous experience in Wills and Probate. My expertise includes advising clients on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney for Health and Welfare and Property and Finance. I also deal with Estate Administration (UK and international aspects).

I am fluent in French and Spanish which allows me to liaise with clients, institutions and lawyers from different jurisdictions. I also translate and draft legal documents in these languages.

In my spare time, I play tennis and I love travelling.
